29 CFR 1910.184(c)(9): Employee(s) were not kept clear of load(s) suspended, or about to be lifted by sling(s): a.) Erie Forge & Steel, Inc.; weld area - On or about 1/18/21 and at times prior thereto, a rail was being moved by a 22 ton P & H overhead crane. The load shifted and came loose striking an employee near the load. The employee was struck in the legs and knocked down. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date noted on the citation (see below). This certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date abatement was completed, method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement
