29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i)(A): Authorized employee(s) did not receive training in the recognition of applicable hazardous energy sources, the type and magnitude of the energy available in the workplace, and the methods and means necessary for energy isolation and control: On or about November 26, 2019, an employee was exposed to amputation hazards while performing the servicing/maintenance task of cleaning the Anhydrous Chute associated with the Anhydrous Centrifuge, and the employer did not provide the employee with authorized employee lockout training. This training would include: a. Recognition of applicable hazardous energy sources, b. Type and magnitude of the energy available in the workplace, and c. Methods and means necessary for energy isolation and control. VISCOFAN USA INC. WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD, WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 1136245, CITATION NUMBER 1, ITEM NUMBER 3 AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON JULY 21, 2016, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 50 COUNTRY CT, MONTGOMERY, ALABAMA 36105.
