29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1)(i): The employer did not select and have each affected employee use, the types of personal protective equipment that would protect the affected employee(s) from the hazards identified in the hazard assessment: H.B. Fuller, Tucker GA - Unloading Area - The employer did not ensure employees used properly fitted PPE suitable for protection against thermal hazards, as well as conduct periodic inspections to assure procedures are being followed for employees unloading molten trucks, exposing employees to hand/arm burn hazards, on or about 10/22/19. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
