29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i): The employer did not provide adequate training to ensure that employees acquired the knowledge and skills required for the safe application, usage and removal of energy control devices: a) On or about May 26, 2019, the employer did not ensure that employees were properly trained in the lock out tag out procedures and associated energy sources while performing maintenance and servicing on the QC7 welder. Employees were exposed to caught-in or amputation hazards when using an emergency stop button to isolate energy sources.
