29 CFR 1910.266(d)(1)(iii): The employer did not provide, at no cost to the employee, and/or assure that each employee handling wire rope wore hand protection that provided adequate protection from puncture wounds, cuts and lacerations: The employer is failing to protect employees from hand cuts and lacerations. Most recently, on or about 04/05/2016, at the end of County Road 4410 in Boss, MO 65440 (Logging Site), employees who utilized wire rope to drag felled trees were not provided adequate hand protection. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19
