29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i): Procedures were not developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees were engaged in activities covered by this section. a) On or about February 16, 2021, in the production shop, line 10 , the employer failed to ensure an energy control procedure was utilized for the control of hazardous energy when an employee was engaged in a service and/or maintenance task, such as cleaning out the bottle caps out of the belt from the Resina Capper Machine, Model #U-40, thereby exposing employees to amputation hazards.
