29 CFR 1910.132(a): Protective equipment was not used when necessary whenever hazards capable of causing injury and impairment were encountered: (a) On or about November 12, 2019 - Long span girder bay, employees were exposed to burn hazards when employees performing arc gouging were not required to wear clothing to protect them from flying sparks and molten metal. Protective equipment is required where any part of the body close to the active arc may be burned.
