29 CFR 1926.251(e)(8)(iii): Synthetic web slings were not immedialtely removed from service when any of the following conditions were present: snags, punctures, tears or cuts. Employees moving a heat exchanger used synthetic slings that had visible damage and were not immediately removed from service were exposed to struck by hazards.
