29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(ii)(B): The energy control procedures did not clearly and specifically outline the steps for shutting down, isolating, blocking and securing machines or equipment to control hazardous energy. a) On or about May 26, 2019, the lockout procedures failed to clearly identify all of the specific steps to be followed by employees to isolate and control hazardous energies of the QC7 welder. Employees were exposed to caught-in or amputation hazards when using an emergency stop button to isolate energy sources while performing maintenance and servicing.
