29 CFR 1910.132(a): Protective equipment was not used when necessary whenever hazards capable of causing injury and impairment were encountered: On or about March 27, 2019, and times prior thereto, the employer did not ensure that personal protective equipment, such as, but not limited to protective clothing, safety goggles, long neoprene gloves, and face shields were provided to all employees. Employees were potentially exposed to severe skin and eye irritation and burns when rinsing the hydrated lime slurry trailers at the end of the shift.
