Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 001A Hazard:
29 CFR 1926.760(a)(1): Except as provided by paragraph (a)(3) of this section, each employee engaged in a steel erection activity who is on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge more than 15 feet (4.6 m) above a lower level shall be protected from fall hazards by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, positioning device systems or fall restraint systems. On or about March 21, 2018 at 1450 Poplar Street in Wrightstown, employer did not ensure employees were using conventional fall protection equipment when retrieving decking materials at greater than twenty-seven (27) feet above surface level. The M.R. Neubert Construction LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.760(a)(a), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1263323, citation number 01, item number 001 and was affirmed as a final order on January 10, 2018, with respect to a workplace located at 2077 Airport Drive, Green Bay, WI 54165.
