29 CFR 1910.147(a)(2)(ii)(B): An employee was required to place a part of his or her body into an area on a machine or piece of equipment where work was actually performed upon the material being processed (point of operation) or where an associated danger zone existed during a machine operating cycle. On or about 06/02/2017, at 4225 Highway 90 E, Broussard, LA, an employee was operating a Heckert Tung milling machine with a rotating impression blade while using a tool (mallet) to augment a piece of metal dye and was pulled to the point of operation.
