Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer does not furnish to each of his employees employment and a place of employment which are free from the recognized hazard of being struck by high-pressure hoses, which causes or is likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees. This violation occurred on or about 09/19/2010 at J.B. Hunt Gas and Oil Drilling, LLC, Rig #5, Neal 604, Upton County, TX, where employees were exposed to the hazard of being struck by a high-pressure hose. One feasible method of correcting the identified hazard would be to inspect high-pressure hoses prior to use.r
