Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to the hazard of being burned: a)On or about 2/7/07, Propane Filling Building: The employer failed to maintain adequate building ventilation while propane tank filling was being performed. Among other methods of abatement, one feasible and acceptable means of abatement is to follow the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 58 Liquified Petroleum Gas Code Chapter 10.2.2.
