OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: a) The employer fails to ensure effective measures to prevent crushed-by and ejection hazards as demonstrated on or about August 25, 2023, in the Planer Mill, where an employee operates a forklift to move product. Feasible means of abatement to address this hazard include but are not limited to ensuring seatbelts are utilized while operating forklifts.
