29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i): Procedures were not developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees were engaged in activities covered by this section: (a) (a) University of Colorado Health DBA UCHealth at 2500 Rocky Mountain Avenue in Loveland, Colorado: On or about November 27, 2021, the employer did not develop or document procedures for controlling hazardous energy when employees were engaged in preventative maintenance tasks for the air handling units. This condition exposed employees caught-in hazards from the residual energy in the fan belts.
