29 CFR 1915.77(c):- When employees were working aloft, or elsewhere at elevations more than 5 feet above a solid surface, either scaffolds or a sloping ladder, meeting the requirements of Subpart E- Scaffolds, Ladders, and Other Working Surfaces, were not provided to afford safe footing, or the employees shall be protected by safety belts and lifelines meeting the requirements of �� 1915.159 and 1915.160. a) Alabama Shipyard: USNS Patuxent; No. 8 Center Cargo Tank; Staging scaffold: On or about November 13, 2021 the employer exposed employees to fall hazards by allowing employees to walk/work on staging scaffold without fall protection exposing employees to fall hazards of 24 feet to the lower level.
