29 CFR 1910.269(a)(2)(ii)(D): Each qualified employee shall also be trained and competent in: The proper use of the special precautionary techniques, personal protective equipment, insulating and shielding materials, and insulated tools for working on or near exposed energized parts of electric equipment: a) On or about 10/14/2021 at a worksite located near 149 Timber Brook Lane, Penfield, New York; an employee was performing tree trimming operations below 12,000 volt primary lines. As the employee was clearing cut branches that were hung up in the tree, the employee stood a branch vertically which contacted the above primary lines. NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
