OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1):The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to struck-by hazards while capping a well. The employer shall furnish to each of its employees employment a place of employment which are likely to cause death or serious physical harm to its employees. On February 1, 2021, the employer did not instruct one or more of its avoidance of potentially unsafe conditions to control or eliminate potential hazard(s) when cutting and capping a wellhead.
