29 CFR 1910.217(c)(1)(i):The employer did not provide and ensure the usage of point of operation guards or properly applied point of operation devices on every operation performed on mechanical power press(es): On or about January 18, 2021, the employer did not provide and ensure the use of point of operation guards or properly applied point of operation devices on the Verson mechanical punch press (model B-510, serial no. 9079). The hazard existed because the punch press was not equipped with point of operation guarding, and a single foot pedal control was used to operate the press.
