Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 001 Hazard:
29 CFR OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1):The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that an employee was exposed to caught-between and crushing hazards: a) Loading dock area: On or about October 13, 2020 at 2616 Old Shell Rd., Mobile, Al. a company vehicle of Port City Industrial LLC was backing up to a loading dock when the vehicle struck and pinned an employee between the vehicle truck bed/bumper and the loading dock mounted bumpers resulting in the employee receiving crushing injuries and being hospitalized.
