29 CFR 1910.147(a)(2)(ii): Alternative measures were not developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees were engaged in activities covered by the exception of 1910.147(a)(2)(ii) for routine, repetitive, and integral processes such as minor tool changes and adjustments, and other minor servicing activities: a) Mill Room Department (Plant #1) - On or about July 24, 2020 and at times prior to, the employer did not develop, document, or utilize alternative measures for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees performed servicing activities such as but not limited to adjusting the hold down chains on the MiTek Component Saw, thus exposing employees to caught-by hazards.
