OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: crush-by hazards caused by the mandrel rod connector pipe not used when installing or removing the mandrel rod from Pilger 350 milling machine. a. Pilger 350 Milling Machine - On or about June 25, 2020 the mandrel rod connector pipe was not used while installing a mandrel rod into the Pilger 350 Milling Machine.
