29 CFR 1910.219(f)(3): Sprocket wheels and chains which were seven (7) feet or less above floors or platforms were not enclosed: a. On or about June 5, 2020, an employee, working at dryer No. 3 outfeed unloader roller conveyor, in attempt to straighten a sheet of veneer reached over the hinged sprocket and chain guard that wasn't secured at the top to the machine frame. The unsecured hinged guard dropped open, thus exposing the employee to an amputation hazard.
