29 CFR 1910.147(c)(1): The employer did not establish a program consisting of an energy control procedures and employee training to ensure that before any employee performed any servicing or maintenance on a machine or equipment where the unexpected energizing, start up or release of stored energy could occur and cause injury, the machine or equipment would be isolated, and rendered inoperative: On or about February 3, 2020, the employer failed to ensure that a written program for the control of hazardous energy was developed and implemented. Employees are performing tasks such as but not limited to the clearing of paper jams on the Ranpak PadPak converter (serial #E1731F09. approximately 50 machines in total).
