29 CFR 1910.23(b)(8): Ladders are used only for the purposes for which they were designed. The employer is failing to ensure that employees are using ladders per the manufacturers specifications and design. This was most recently documented on January 8, 2020 at the CHI Health Lakeside Hospital maintenance area. A 6 foot A frame ladder was leaned onto a air handler unit, and used to access elevated work area.
