OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to electric shock hazards when boom spraying operations were conducted near overhead power lines: On May 15, 2019, at the workplace located near the intersection of Lakeland Road and Dee-Mac Road in Deer Creek, IL, employees were transferring liquid pesticide spray from a tank (tender) truck to an AGCO Corporation Terra-Gator (Model TG9300B; Serial Number AGCA9300AHNC4007) agricultural spray vehicle. While an employee was connecting the transfer hose to the spray vehicle, the boom of the spray vehicle came in contact with a 7,200 volt overhead power line.
