29 CFR 1926.102(a)(2): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee used eye protection that provided side protection when there is a hazard from flying objects. The employer is failing to ensure that the eyes and faces of employees are protected from flying particles while working on a residential roof. This was most recently documented on the jobsite located at 8477 Timber Ridge Dr. Firth, Nebraska on or about January 31, 2019. During the investigation of a partial building collapse that employees were utilizing pneumatic air guns without any form of eye protection.
