29 CFR 1926.760(d)(1): Guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, positioning device systems and their components shall conform to the criteria in �� 1926.502 (see Appendix G to this subpart). 29 CFR 1926.502(d)(16)(iii): Personal fall arrest systems, when stopping a fall, were not rigged such that an employee could not free fall more than 6 feet (1.8 m) nor contact any lower level: (a) Construction site - On or about June 25, 2018 employee and owner using personal fall arrest systems that were connected to individual retractable lanyards which were connected to building column in a manor that did not prevent entanglement allowing the employee to free fall 10' to lower level. The retractable lanyard was not anchored above the employees work level.
