29 CFR 1910.132(a): Protective equipment was not used when necessary whenever hazards capable of causing injury and impairment were encountered: a) Immersion Gold Line, on or about 3/26/18: An employee was pumping Nitric Acid 42 Deg Be into tanks 14/15. Employee was sprayed with chemical due to a loose connection at the valve and was not wearing protection personal protective equipment including but not limited to: Chemical Resistant Long Sleeve Apron Coat and Face Shield.
