29 CFR 1910.28(b)(13)(i): 29 CFR 1910.28(b)(13)(i): When work was performed less than 6 feet (1.6 m) from the roof edge, the employer did not ensure each employee was protected from falling by a guardrail system, safety net system, travel restraint system, or personal fall arrest system: a) On the service-department roof: On or about June 6, 2017, employees were exposed to fall hazards of approx. 18 ft. 6 in. on a low-slope roof, in that workers tasked to apply coverings over damaged skylights were not fall-protected while performing work activities less than (6) feet from unprotected edges.
