Abstract: On February 11, 2002, Employee #1 entered a manhole that led into a drainage holding tank, and became stuck in approximately 2 ft of sludge found at the bottom of the tank. Employee #2 entered the manhole in order to dig the first employee out of the sludge. Employee #1 and Employee #2 were both hospitalized for frost bite.
