Abstract: At approximately 12:30 p.m. on March 20, 1991, Employee #1 was found unconscious in a boat hull where he was spraying glue containing 1,1,1-trichloroethane to install carpet. Upon arrival at the hospital, he was found to be 95 percent brain dead. Employee #1 died on April 8, 1991, when he was found to be 100 percent brain dead by Elkhart General Hospital.
