Abstract: At 1:15 p.m. on October 19, 2021, an employee working at fiberglass product manufacturing facility was attempting to change the pads on puller unit. Pad #1 on the unit unexpectedly actuated after the employee turned off the hydraulic pressure to pad #2. The employee's right index finger became caught between pad #1 and the puller unit, resulting in a partial amputation of the employee's fingertip. The employee was treated without hospitalization.
