Abstract: Employee #1 was working in a hospital when she was treated at the hospital for another condition. Employee #1 had received a negative COVID-19 test while in the hospital, however she contracted the infection, was hospitalized, and died due to COVID-19 complications on January 17, 2021. Employee #2 was hospitalized with COVID-19 but did not work in the same unit as employee #1. Employee #2 worked in the cardiac ICU unit and the only potential exposure was in a break area used for lunch which was limited to two employees at a time.
