Abstract: At 2:00 p.m. on November 13, 2020, an employee was operating a RockTenn SWFTF600 tray former machine, making celery boxes. A piece of cardboard got jammed in the tray former machine, so the employee stopped the machine to unjam it. The machine operator, while pulling out the jammed piece of cardboard with both of his hands, had hot glue from the machine drip down onto the top of his right hand. The temperature of the hot glue was at least 350 degrees, and the employee was not wearing any gloves. The employee was hospitalized to treat second to third degree burns to his right hand.
