Abstract: At 10:30 a.m. on January 21, 2021, an employee working as a mail handler for the post office was operating a pallet jack powered industrial truck (PIV) transporting two emptied postal packs across loop #1. The employee was trying to make a right turn and struck the safety rail causing her right foot to get pinned. The employee was hospitalized with four fractured toes.
