Abstract: At 9:00 p.m. on August 18, 2020, an employee, a machine operator, was operating a spot welding machine when she placed her hand on the part being welded and pushed the trigger with her other hand that lowered the electrode onto her finger. The employee suffered a partial amputation of her right pinky finger. The employee was treated but not hospitalized.
