Abstract: At 11:07 a.m. on November 7, 2020, Employee #1 and a coworker, employed by a framing construction company, were working at the construction project for a new one-story commercial building. Employee #1 was rigging/securing a large wooden truss to a forklift operated by the coworker. As the forklift began to lift the truss, the truss toppled over and struck Employee #1. Employee #1 sustained blunt force traumatic crushing injuries to his upper body and head and was killed.
