Abstract: At 9:30 a.m. on September 18, 2020, an employee was working in the production department on the 40-line swage machine. The swage machine attaches steel collars and steel bases to make a roof/top for vents. The employee's right index finger was caught in the machine. The employee's right index finger sustained an amputation to the first digit, and the employee was hospitalized.
