Abstract: At 11:15 a.m. on June 18, 2020, an employee working for a motor vehicle stamping company was making an adjustment to a Soenen machine press arm. The press arm activated while the employee had his fingers under the press bar. The employee amputated his right ring finger at the second knuckle and damaged his right thumb, requiring hospitalization.
