Abstract: At 11:00 a.m. on April 17, 2020, Employee #1 was engaged in exterior painting at a two-story commercial building. He was working from a ladder at a height of 12 feet and taping a light fixture in preparation for painting. The employee was found lying on the concrete surface at the base of the ladder, unconscious and bleeding from his ears. He sustained multiple fractures to his skull and traumatic brain injury. Employee #1 died from his injuries.
