Abstract: At 11:00 a.m. on March 3, 2020, Employee #1 was working for a construction exterior/foundation contractor. Employee #1 was releasing a latch on a self-tipping hopper when the lifting arm fell back and caught his fingertip between the lifting arm and the side of a 30-yard dumpster. Employee #1 suffered an amputation and received treatment without hospitalization.
