Abstract: At 8:00 a.m. on January 22, 2020, an employee was locking a Mattison Molder 229 motor in place when his hand slipped and his finger entered an unguarded opening to the motor fan. The employee's finger made contact with the fan blade, and he was hospitalized to treat a partial amputation of his left index finger.
