Abstract: At 4:00 a.m. on December 31, 2019, an employee was cleaning under equipment that was in a cleaning cycle with caustic solution. The employee was sprayed with hot caustic solution when a pipe cap fell off. The employee was hospitalized to treat first and second degrees burns.
