Abstract: At 6:00 p.m. on November 26, 2019, an employee working as a machinist in a machine shop was assisting with testing a flow mixed fan assembly. When the machine was turned on it sucked the employee's right hand into the unguarded blade. The employee amputated his index fingertip and required hospitalization.
