Abstract: At 11:00 a.m. on October 29, 2019, an employee working for a copper foundry was assisting a coworker (a Pourer) with the movement and tilting of a pot. After the coworker finished filling one row of molds, the employee turned to face the other molds on the row behind. As the employee was standing near the filled molds, molten metal spilled from one mold and ran down his leg. The employee sustained burns on his leg and required hospitalization.
