Abstract: At 6:05 a.m. on July 3, 2019, an employee was standing on the sixth rung of an eleven-rung orchard ladder reaching up to pick nectarines from a tree when the front support pole of the ladder slipped on the berm of one of the rows of trees causing her to lose her balance and fall. The employee suffered a back injury and was treated without hospitalization.
