Abstract: At 10:00 a.m. on October 3, 2019, an employee who worked as a Truck Driver for a lumber company had been gathering tools to fix a log trailer standard. The employee was standing on the log trailer using a come-a-long to winch the broken standard into place. As he started putting pressure on the come-a-long, the cable broke causing the employee to fall to the ground striking a portion of the trailer. The employee incurred broken ribs and a clavicle and punctured a lung, requiring hospitalization.
