Abstract: At 3: 30 p.m. an employee was trying to clear a clog in an Exmark Model LZE732GAC524A Ultra Vac vacuum blower system on a lawn mower. The employee tried to clear the clog with the blower blades still engaged and his right hand was struck by the blade. The employee amputated his thumb to the cuticle and his index finger down to the first bone, requiring medical treatment without hospitalization.
